Kenneth L. Groves
Mr. Groves purchased Edwards Electric Corp. in 1989 and has been its president and Chief Executive Officer since that time. He is a Florida Certified Building Contractor, a Florida Certified Electrical Contractor, and several real estate related licenses. He attended the University of Florida for four years and has attended and or participated in seminars in areas including contracting, construction, project management, administration, finance, banking, real estate, computers, electronics, and instrumentation. Prior to and concurrent with the acquisition of Edwards, Mr. Groves has been active in all areas of real estate, construction, banking and non-profit activities including agencies, schools, and foundations.
Tyrone A. Fox
Vice President, Inside Operations Manager
Mr. Fox has been with Edwards Electric Corp. since 1987. He has served in the capacity of Assistant Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Manager and Vice President. He has a degree in Business Administration from Morris College, a Certificate in Construction Management from Essex Technical and has completed numerous courses and seminars in Purchasing, Project Management and Industrial Electrical Contracting. He has been in various administrative positions in the electrical contracting industry since 1979. He is responsible for all bidding, material procurement, engineering drawings, contract administration and the internal operation.
David B. Flynn
Vice President, Field Operations Manager
Mr. Flynn has been with Edwards since 1978. He is currently serving as a consultant and project manager for the Largo WWRF. He has served in the capacities of wireman, foreman, general foreman, superintendent and estimator. He has managed hundreds of projects including major industrial installations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, commercial buildings, bascule bridges, and an airport terminal expansion. He has completed the four year JATC training course, has attended Palm Beach Community College, and Florida Atlantic University. He has also completed a number of courses and seminars in process instrumentation and control, fiber optics, and industrial electronics. He currently holds a Master Electricians license.
